Greetings, My name is Anna Berger. Through personal experience I have learned the importance of maintaining a balance in life through living a healthy and active lifestyle. I laugh at life so that life will laugh along with me. I have been in love with movement ever since 1999, when I first began a long and impressive career as a professional snowboard instructor and on to become a semi-pro rider in the back country. My love of movement has gravitated towards rock climbing, mountain bike, paddle boarding, dance, yoga, gymnastics/acrobatics, and now cirques. Time stops for me when I am at play in my movement and creative art form expressions as I am working through the intricacies of detailed movements. This is a talent that runs in my family, as my sister Amy is a decorated gymnast and infamous yoga instructor as-well. In 2006 I became certified in Forrest Yoga Instruction, and have been an active teacher ever since. My movement analysis abilities are keen, and cues are extremely specified for proper alignment and integrity for each posture/motion that come through in any sport/ movement that I am conveying. I have worked as a senior stretch instructor to provide safe and effective exercises to active elders, while also working with the pre-Olympic Youth Vail Ski/Snowboard Team to elevate their body awareness while keeping the athletes limber and performance ready. I am also skilled in the art of healing touch, having worked as a hands on assistant with clinics of: Holistic, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, & Physical Therapy; and am the CEO/ Certified and Licensed Massage Therapist of Metta Moves LLC. I specialize in Thai, Sports, Tui Na, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Lymphatic, and Hot Stone. I have also managed a team of personal trainers and one physical therapist to work with an SCI patient to facilitate Litegait therapy and other various exercises to regain lost motor control. I enjoy working with injuries and helping my clientele to recover to find an active lifestyle that is balanced and functional.
